Nurse for our Village Care Services

We offer exclusive care services for our retirement village from the Nursing Home and would like to expand our team. This includes the typical home care services in a family oriented environment. We are looking for the head nurse to organise and run the service including the development of individual care plans. We require:

• experience with high level care in a Nursing Home or Retirement Village, please do not apply if you don’t have this experience
• You need to have Portuguese residency, a NIF number and be registered with social security
• willingness to work in a highly motivated team
• participation in the improvement of our care policies
• bi-lingual: you need to be fluent in Portuguese and English

Our Village Care Services are under continuous development. We totally focus on exclusive services for the village. There is no intention to widen these services beyond village boundaries, we aim for a tailored and optimised service for our residents where we know each other and work in a family like atmosphere. You will be part of our Nursing Home Team. As such we offer several opportunities for additional income. Your focus will be the village, but as the demand for care in the village fluctuates you will be working in the Nursing Home as well.

Registered Nurse

Kitchen Assistant

Our kitchen team works in two teams of a chef supported by a kitchen assistant. As we are expanding our meal services for our village we need to increase our capacity. As a kitchen assistant you also will be trained by your chef to become a backup chef so that you can take over in case the chef is ill or on holidays.
