Registered Nurse

We would like to expand our team of qualified and registered nurses. Monte da Palhagueira has been delivering outstanding nursing care for over 30 years now. We cherish our residents ensuring we optimise their day to day enjoyment and that they have the best qualified nursing care and we give you the time to deliver this. Hazel Gordon, our Nursing Home Manager can assist you at any stage of your enquiry, don’t hesitate to call. We are looking for:

• experience with elderly care, either in a hospital, GP clinic or in a Nursing Home or Retirement Village
• Portuguese residency, a NIF number and registration with social security
• willingness to participate in the continuous improvement of our care services
• bi-lingual: you need to be fluent in Portuguese and English

If you are a Registered Nurse in another European Country and are in the process of gaining your Portuguese Registration we are happy to talk with you to see whether we could offer you a pathway during this process.

Chef

We are in the process of expending our meal services to our Retirement Village. To do so we are looking for a chef with experience in western style food. Ideally you would be familiar with high quality nutritional food for an elderly clientele. But if you need an update we can organise training for you. In addition our team of experienced cooks and assistants can give you the support you may need to get going. You should discuss details with our Nursing Home Manager Hazel Gordon.
